CRB Checked

You can be sure of our commitment to your comfort and safety in our hands.
All our carers are vetted as part of our rigorous recruitment process and fully CRB checked, to enhanced disclosure level.

What is a Disclosure?
A Disclosure is a document containing information held by the police and government departments. Disclosures are provided by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and used by employers to make informed recruitment decisions.

Disclosures will provide details of a candidate’s criminal record including convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings held on the Police National Computer. Depending upon the level of Disclosure, it might also contain information held by the local police.

Safety

Enhanced Disclosures are for posts involving a far greater degree of contact with children or vulnerable adults. In general, the type of work will involve regularly caring for, supervising, training or being in sole charge of such people. Enhanced Disclosures contain the same information as Standard Disclosures but with the addition of local police force information considered relevant by Chief Police Officers.
