SureCare history
SureCare’s roots were set down as part of a multinational organisation in 1987. It became a company in its own right in 1994, with John and Gill Ford as the Owner-Directors.
The company started as an alarm business but introduced domiciliary care in 1996. The Claimar Care Group acquired SureCare from the Fords in October 2006 and was itself acquired in November 2009 by Housing 21, a social enterprise for older people that
- Provides homes and services to enable people to enjoy a good later life
- Brings communities together to create active, supportive environments, which value older people
