Training (Mandatory, QCF and Specialist)

SureCare feels strongly and ethically about its service and products, which directly impact on the lives of its clients. Standards for our managers and staff are based on the national occupational standards for the care industry, set by the National Training Organisation.

Our carers receive regular supervision and refresher training. In addition, we encourage all our staff in their professional development and many have NVQ qualifications in social care.

The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is replacing the existing National Qualifications Framework (NVQ). It is a new way of recognising skills and qualifications, which it does by awarding credit for qualifications and units (small steps of learning). It enables people to gain qualifications at their own pace, along flexible routes. Learners can take advantage of a range of opportunities and can be reliably recognised for their achievements.
