It is the AIM of SureCare to provide high quality care and support in a way which supports the independence of individuals and enables them to remain safely in their own homes for as long as possible.

We are committed in promoting the health, wellbeing, social inclusion, improved independence and responsibility of the people we provide a service to, which we feel in turn, will help to improve the quality of people’s lives, within the community.

We achieve this by taking a holistic approach and working in partnership with you, your family, your care workers and managers and any other professional that may be involved in your health and wellbeing.

We will give you support to help you remain living in your own home for as long as it is safe and practical to do so, with reassurance that your entire individual needs will be catered for.

You are important to us and we aim to ensure that your rights as a person are observed.

SureCare have been delivering support services to people in the South Ribble area for over 10 years. Over this period we have continuously monitored and improved our Aims and Objectives so that the people we provide a service for and also staff understand that our service is focused on each individual and their needs. We strongly believe in promoting the eight person centred values and they are:

  • Individuality: people never have to fit in with SureCare, people have the right to choose, and any support from SureCare is tailored to the individual.
  • Independence: Assist and encourage people with their daily living tasks by working together.
  • Privacy: All staff should ask permission from the person before commencing any type of support.
  • Partnership: We work with other professionals, families and carers to improve the lives of each person we provide a service for. Good communication between all concerned is paramount.
  • Choice: Each person has a right to make their own choices.
  • Dignity: People no matter who they are deserve to feel respected.
  • Respect: We support people in their beliefs.
  • Rights: People we provide a service to have a right to have a say in the way they are supported.

  • The emphasis is always on you as an individual. We believe the unique qualities of each individual person is determined by their life history and experiences, likes and dislikes, these are their defining characteristics.
  • When our staff attend your home they will always be wearing a uniform together with an appropriate Identification Badge with photograph so that he /she is easily identifiable to you.
  • We believe that all individuals have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
