Press Release: SureCare Secures Prestigious BFA Membership

Change Text Size A A A

We are delighted to announce that we have secured membership of the prestigious British Franchise Association.

We had to meet a range of criteria in order to become an Associate Member, which included demonstrating that our franchise business is viable, that systems are in place to transfer knowledge to a network of franchisees, that it complies with the European Code of Ethics for Franchising and, finally, that it provides full disclosure of all necessary information to prospective franchisees.

Securing the BFA membership is the latest coup for us following the arrival of Managing Director Gary Farrer at the end of last year, who wants to increase the number of franchises across the country to at least 50 within two years covering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Gary has also increased the range of services offered by us. Traditionally, we have only concentrated on domiciliary care, but have now expanded into childcare, respite care and home services which includes carrying out everyday household tasks.

Our new MD, Gary previously owned the Lancashire-based integrated care provider Safehands Group which, together with his wife Stephanie, he built into a £5.5million turnover business before selling at the end of 2011. He says:

It is fantastic to gain membership of the British Franchise Association for the first time in the company’s 19-year history. It is a tribute to the hard work of the SureCare head office team and its franchisees who rigorously ensure that we meet the tough criteria laid down by the BFA. We are looking to attract high quality franchise candidates with a can-do attitude and a desire to provide our customers with the best possible quality of care.

We have created a franchise business which is able to offer a community of care services for life’s journey. This means our franchisees can provide services for the very young through to those in later life. Whether it is providing personal or live-in care, collecting the laundry from the dry-cleaner, buying the paper, baby-sitting, running a mobile crèche or accompanying an elderly or disabled person on holiday, SureCare is able to help.

So why not contact us today to find out more.
