Who We Care For
Posted on 18 February 2014SureCare has come a long way as a company in the last couple of years.
There was a time when the sole focus of our business was on providing domiciliary care (or, personal care as we now prefer to call it) to the elderly and the disabled.
While this still forms an important part of what we do across our 27 franchises and three branches, we now offer a far greater number of care services to a much wider audience.
Here at SureCare, we call it a “community of care services for life’s journey” which, in short, means providing care to pretty much anyone who needs it.
In a typical day, our army of carers across England will find themselves helping people get going in the morning and perhaps preparing breakfast for them and helping them get dressed; running someone to their local lunchtime club; picking up the laundry for a disabled person; playing a game of scrabble with a client; running a mobile crèche at a wedding; and providing a babysitting service to mums and dads up and down the country to help them keep work engagements or enjoy a night off.
The care sector is the fastest growing sector in the UK and this is being driven by a number of factors including our ever ageing population, the growing distances between families living in different parts of the country and the increasing time pressures people are under.
SureCare is there for thousands of clients and their loved ones every day of the year, providing the right level of care needed to allow the elderly and disabled, the young and the old continue to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
So whether you require our Home Services, household tasks including:
- making the bed and changing linen
- ironing, shopping
- washing up
- making meals
- dusting and vacuuming
- pet care
- watering the plants
- babysitting
- recycling and gardening
- handyman services
Or our Personal Care and Support:
- ensuring dignity for the elderly and the disabled
Or our Childcare services:
- providing clients with everything from babysitting through to mobile crèches for weddings
SureCare is here to help.
We also offer Holiday Care, providing people with the opportunity to give their regular carer a break or simply to be able to go on holiday with a care companion, providing that all-important peace of mind.
Our specially trained carers are there to provide a caring, enjoyable and positive experience.
