A former carer has opened her own care business in Bolton and is looking to recruit more staff.

Hasina Anwar has bought the Bolton branch of SureCare, one of the UK’s fastest growing care companies.

The branch supplies people in the area with a range of dedicated care services including person centred care for the elderly and vulnerable, child care, home services and staffing solutions for care homes.

SureCare Bolton was officially opened this week (July 19th) by the Lord Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Roger Hayes.

Cllr Hayes said: “It’s fantastic to see businesses launching that not only bring jobs to Bolton but provide services to the most vulnerable people. I wish SureCare Bolton every success in their business.”

Registered Manager Hasina has already taken on 65 staff and is looking for more people to join her team over the next 12 months.

She said: “I’m delighted to own and run the SureCare branch in Bolton. I want to offer care services with a difference and my plans for the branch include further developing into the private market and children’s services.

“We currently have 65 dedicated staff but, because we are growing so quickly and we’re in such a busy area, I’m continually looking for more people to join our team.”

Hasina started her career 11 years ago as a carer before working her way up to being a supervisor and then a care manager.

She said: “Care is what I know best and I thrive over making a difference to people’s lives. Recruiting the best staff who share my same work ethics, will enable SureCare Bolton to deliver the highest quality care.”

The branch already has an excellent reputation for going the extra mile for its customers.

The daughter of one care customer recently praised SureCare Bolton for its “personal and flexible service” after they prepared Polish food for her epileptic father.

They also looked after a customer’s religious and cultural needs following his stroke and arranged for two carers to regularly take him to his local Mosque so that he could perform his prayers.

“We then liaised with the gentleman’s social workers and relayed what a difference this had made to his life,” added Hasina.

“The social worker was then able to add this into is Care plan and he is can now attend his Mosque ever week. It is being able to do these little – but hugely significant – things that can make a huge difference to the person you are caring for. It is this difference that makes my job amazing.”

Gary Farrer, Managing Director of SureCare, says: “Hasina is doing a fantastic job in Bolton, providing people in the area with a wide range of exceptional care and support services, whether they are busy parents looking for childcare support or those in need or personal care and support in their home.

“As a business, our mission is to consistently provide our clients with the highest quality of tailor-made and person-centred care and support services.”

SureCare is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has over two decades of experience in the personal care sector, with branches and franchises across the UK delivering quality care and support for all stages of life’s journey.
