Posted on 25 November 2024Home care provider SureCare Calderdale & Kirklees provides quality home care services to adults and children living in their own homes, as well as supporting them on holiday, in respite facilities or out in the community.
SureCare Calderdale & Kirklees has been rated ‘Good’ with the Care Quality Commission – the independent regulator for health and social care in England.
The Managing Director and the Registered Manager shared that, over the last 4 years, our commitment to providing the highest standard of care and support has allowed us to recruit experienced and passionate care and support workers to join our teams. We have care and support workers trained in Palliative Care, End of Life Care, Complex Care, Dementia Care and support for other health issues that require trained care workers to help people with medication management, mobility and personal care to maintain independence in their own homes.
SureCare offers and provides much more than typical elderly home care, with a complete range of services available to people of all ages and abilities. From providing childcare (complex, baby sitting, and school support) to supporting for adults with physical and learning difficulties, our care teams are committed to delivering flexible care that is as compassionate as it is professional.
We provide tailored care packages based on an individual’s needs. This can include regular short check-ups, longer appointments, and we also specialise in 24-hour live-in care services. Whatever assistance is required and whenever it’s needed, SureCare strives to go above and beyond to offer the best possible support.
“Our aim is to provide support to our service users in a person-centred way, which has positive outcomes for them, actively engaging them in their participation. We ensure that our service users receive the very best care. We regularly review our operations and actively seek the feedback from both our care staff and service users, their family and friends; ensuring that any additional needs are promptly acted upon.”
The training opportunities at SureCare are so extensive from courses and training on producing nutritious home cooked meals to PEG feed, from strip wash to hoist support, individual and personal values to respect those requiring religious and cultural care and support needs.
SureCare Calderdale & Kirklees is committed to recruiting local care workers who have an understanding of the local needs and also know about all the local community facilities and community services to support and refer services users to.
Our Registered Manager said: “We endeavour to provide each of our service users with a package of care that is based entirely around their health and well-being preferences. We also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that their care is holistic and comprehensive in its approach. Our aim is to maximise our service users’ sense of independence and reach any goals they wish to achieve.”
“We are dedicated and committed to providing our service users with exceptional quality care and are eager to welcome new service users on board.”
SureCare Calderdale & Kirklees has invested heavily in our electronic monitoring system, so services users can see what time their care workers have arrived and left, as well as read up-to-date care notes and medication support. Service users and their families can access and contribute to the log notes and their own support plans. Being online, this can be done from anywhere in the world… and of course our systems are fully GDPR compliant and password protected.
If you’re looking for high quality personal home care service for yourself or a loved one, or you have what it takes to provide daily support to the most vulnerable in our local community, SureCare Calderdale & Kirklees is happy to have an initial conversation with you about your care and support needs.
