About SureCare

SureCare Central Cheshire is a franchise of SureCare Community Services Limited owned and operated by Cheshire Homecare Ltd.

SureCare Central Cheshire provides flexible and tailored personal care to complement the care already provided by family members or to replace care when family can no longer help.

We provide support enabling people to continue to live independently within their own homes. With our wide network of partners, we help people to remain a part of their local community and participate in local activities.

We select individuals to become care workers who are naturally caring, compassionate and want to support, with respect, those who now need some help. We invest in our team of care workers, training them to the highest standards to ensure they provide only the highest levels of care. We look after our care workers so that they look after you.

In order to provide the best family focused care for your loved one (our client), we complete a full care needs assessment and a detailed plan of care will be agreed with you, the client and ourselves. During this time, we get to know the client so that care workers can chat about topics that are relevant and will spark happy memories making care visits something to look forward to.

When providing care we look at all aspects that affect the health, well-being, emotional, and safety needs of our clients to improve the social inclusion and independence of those we are fortunate to work with and aim for them to remain or return to being a part of their local community.

SureCare has invested in technology to assist in providing quality care and support. The software has been tailor-made and ensures that any information is securely stored. This innovative system will facilitate with not only reducing our carbon footprint but ultimately allow SureCare to be a market leader in our sector operating a near paperless system. Added to our comprehensive training package this helps to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of care and support.

About Out Team

Everybody at SureCare Central Cheshire aims to provide care, assistance and support in ways that have positive outcomes for all our clients. Our local roots and our wide network of partners mean that we can help people to remain a part of their local community and, where possible, participate in local activities.

SureCare Central Cheshire is led by Tina Jones and Kirstie Hercules. We both live locally and have worked and been active in the local community all our lives. Collectively we have over 40 years’ experience working in local government, with a focus on community services. We have managed a wide range of statutory services and worked with individuals and voluntary groups to develop new services to meet local needs.

We established SureCare Central Cheshire because we are both passionate about the future of care, and running our own company allows us to ensure people we are fortunate to work with, get the help and support they need. It is important to us that our services are designed with the individual, to help them achieve the outcomes they want.

Staff Training

As owners of the company, we personally deliver our staff induction course to ensure all staff are competent and understand how we believe care should be delivered to our high standards. This training includes information on our policies and procedures, reporting, communication and legislation surrounding Health and Safety at Work.

During the first 12 weeks of employment all staff complete the Care Certificate, which includes topics such as safeguarding, food hygiene, load management, infection control, first aid, health and safety, and medication awareness training.

Refresher training takes place on a regular basis and all staff are given the opportunity to work towards a diploma in care. Staff are encouraged to do training in specific areas according to the individual needs of our clients.

All our staff undergo a rigorous vetting programme before joining SureCare Central Cheshire. This includes telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews, written references from former employers and an enhanced criminal records disclosure check. Ongoing supervision, appraisal and support are provided for our care staff.
