At SureCare Central Cheshire we are looking for exceptionally dedicated people to become care assistants in our growing and incredible team to provide person-centred care and support for our clients. Requirements needed to become a Care Assistant with SureCare 

Although experience in care is advantageous, we are accepting applications from people with no previous experience as full training will be provided. We are welcoming experience in hospitality, retail and customer service sectors to make use of those invaluable transferable skills needed to become an outstanding care assistant.

We also welcome applications from those having worked in care homes or with childcare experience.

This role requires that the applicant resides in the UK and has the right to work in the UK. We are not sponsoring VISA applications at this time.

Benefits

  • Hourly rates: £13.70 for evenings (after 6pm) and for weekends
  • Bank holidays: £18.90 in the day and £20.55 after 6pm. Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are both paid at double time
  • Paid travel time for travelling between clients’ homes
  • Paid mileage 30p per mile in addition to paid travel time

Role and Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities of being a Care Assistant with SureCare

  • Providing personal care, washing and dressing, oral care
  • Providing emotional support
  • Food preparation
  • Support with medication administration
  • Support within the community
  • Domestic tasks
  • Respite care

Key Points

  • Employment is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK
  • Completion of all SureCare theoretical and practical training
  • Required to work alternating weekends (weekend only jobs also available)
  • No experience or qualifications needed although experience is an advantage
  • Full and valid driver’s licence with own transport is essential
