Our Leadership Team

Registered Manager

Lisa Whalley

Lisa leads the way for the team at SureCare Cheshire East branch. As the Registered Manager, she oversees the day-to-day management of operations and is responsible for maintaining our high standard of services.

Before joining SureCare Cheshire East, she had a successful career running a pub for 10 years. Coming into contact with a variety of people on a daily basis helped Lisa to build on her strong and effective communication skills. Having also been a qualified Nursery Nurse after leaving school, she has a natural instinct for the well-being of others. This became particularly useful when providing informal care and support for older family members when they became ill.

In becoming the Registered Manager at SureCare Cheshire East, Lisa has utilised her personal experiences and understanding of the challenges facing the care sector today. It is her firm belief that every individual should be treated fairly and receive the highest standard of care. Under Lisa’s leadership, SureCare Cheshire East aims to be inclusive and strives to provide a person-centred service that involves service users in all aspects of their care and decision making.

Care Coordinator

Kerri Woods

Care has always played a big role in Kerri’s life, as she follows in the footsteps of close family members who are senior care workers. Having previously worked in the hospitality sector over two decades, she felt motivated to pursue a new career path in the care sector. This was partly inspired by her experiences in providing care for close relatives in their later years.

Upon joining SureCare Cheshire East in 2019, she has been able to fully immerse herself in the daily challenges of providing care and support. Kerri began as a Care Assistant, progressing to become a Care Co-ordinator in November 2021. During her time at SureCare, she has gained a great deal of knowledge and experience in supporting others with person-centred care.

As each day brings new challenges, Kerri values her strong working relationship with Lisa and everyone in the care team. It is through this co-operation that she is determined to provide care in a way that respects and protects the dignity of our clients at all times. With an extra sense of friendliness and compassion, she also believes it is important to care for others in the way she would expect for herself and her own family.
