SureCare Newark is a franchise of SureCare Community Services Limited owned and operated by Crosby Community Care Limited.

At SureCare Newark, we aim to provide care, assistance and support in ways that have positive outcomes for all of our clients, whilst promoting and encouraging their active participation. We regularly review the services we provide to ensure that we are successfully meeting the needs of our service users and achieving their aims and objectives. We also encourage feedback from our clients, their relatives, friends and representatives.

Our person-centred approach to care allows us to provide tailor-made care and support packages that contribute to the overall health and well-being of our clients, whilst incorporating individual needs, wishes and preferences. SureCare Newark also strives to work in partnership with other services and health professionals, maximising the full potential of those we support.

In order to meet our clients’ individual needs, we at SureCare Newark ensure that a full care needs assessment is completed by our experienced staff and a detailed plan of care is agreed. We also seek to ensure that our clients’ needs are thoroughly re-assessed as often as required, so that the care and support provided has the flexibility to respond to any change of needs. Through our services, we strive to assist our clients in maintaining their dignity and independence at home, as well as encouraging participation within our local community wherever possible.

SureCare Newark has rigorous recruitment and in-house training procedures, allowing us to consistently provide high quality amongst our team of care professionals. All of our staff are subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, and are regularly monitored and supported in their role. Full extensive training is provided, with career progression and personal development actively encouraged throughout. Through this, we strive to ensure that our services are delivered to the high and professional standard you’d come to expect from a nationally recognised care provider.

Our Leadership Team

Director

Douglas Esson

Douglas believes in providing care with compassion, dignity and respect, and that every individual deserves to feel a sense of inclusion. Through SureCare Newark, he aims to make a positive impact on the local community. It is Douglas’ mission to support those who require high quality care services, as well as to create job opportunities within the care sector.

Before launching SureCare Newark, Douglas previously worked as an electrical engineer. His services helped to support vulnerable people during 2020, when the spread of COVID-19 was at its most prevalent. Douglas has also gained leadership experience as Chairman and Trustee of a local charity, in which he strives to support people in the community.

By operating as part of the nationwide SureCare network, Douglas and his team will also be able to rely on regular business development support. This aims to provide our service users with peace of mind and confidence in our care services, and our commitment to quality.

Registered Manager

Lindsay Marshall

Lindsay brings a wealth of care sector experience with her to SureCare Newark. Over the years, she has developed key skills in care and training, which enable her to lead and support our strong team of care workers.

As the Registered Manager for SureCare Newark, Lindsay is responsible for managing various business operations, as well as helping our dedicated care team to enhance their own skills and knowledge. This ensures that we are able to provide consistently high quality care with the level of professionalism and compassion our service users come to expect from us.
