SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside

Providing quality care services for all stages of life’s journey

About SureCare

SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside is a franchise of SureCare Community Services Limited owned and operated by Surecare Newcastle Limited.

SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside is a family run business who all have a hands-on approach.

Our family are not only inspired by traditional Indian culture, but also our passion for care. This has stemmed from our mother being a care worker for so many years. We have grown up witnessing the compassion, empathy and fulfilment our mother got from working in this sector and we knew this was always a passion we wished to share.

Our Vision, Mission & Values

Our Vision

We aim to be recognised as the leading trusted provider of high quality care and support services to those in need of help and care, whatever their individual circumstances.

Our Mission

We consistently strive to provide our clients with high quality, person-centred care and support services that are tailored to the individual, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence at home.

Our Values

We strive to improve the overall well-being and quality of life of our clients, by valuing Independence, Respect, Dignity, Trust, Reliability and Commitment to supporting people through all stages of life's journey.

At SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside, we put our company values at the heart of our organisation. This extends to our extensive recruitment and selection process; we look for staff who share our values and who are committed to making a difference in the community.

The SureCare family are one team with one dream: to provide a high-quality care service for life’s journey. Our belief is that staff are only as good as the training and support they receive. Therefore we, at SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside, provide an extensive training programme and ongoing support for all staff to ensure they are highly trained and competent within their role. Career progression is encouraged and supported throughout; to ensure our staff achieve their professional and personal goals. It is our job to provide the right path to achieve such goals.

Reviewing the service is a crucial and important part of our business and we welcome feedback from all. This helps us to continuously improve and provide the highest quality of service to all involved.

We decided to join SureCare’s national network as we felt the values, experience and expertise they offered made the perfect partnership to achieve our goals: to give back to the community by providing the highest quality care. Since then our family has expanded and now includes a new extended family of SureCare staff and service users.

Our local roots enable us to understand what our clients need, which is the ability to provide flexible and affordable person-centred care tailored to our clients’ needs. Our bespoke services are for life’s journey, they range from support with childcare, to elderly care and anything in between. We can provide the care you need whatever that may be from as little as a 30-minute call to 24/7 live-in care.

Since we began our SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside journey, the objective from the beginning was to improve the quality of life for individuals and families who require our help. We encourage service users to live a fulfilled life as much as possible, promoting their independence and choice, respecting their privacy, beliefs and values whilst living in the comfort of their own homes, for as long as it is safe and practical to do so.

Our Leadership Team

SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside is led by two brothers, Akshay and Manish Duggal.

The decision to enter the SureCare family came primarily from their mother. Working in the industry since 2008, she felt the family could come together to start a business, providing high quality care and support to our community.

Directors

About Akshay and Manish

Akshay has an educational background in a health-related industry. Akshay’s passion for health and science has allowed him to transfer the skills and understanding learnt from his Biomedical Science degree to SureCare. Akshay’s degree has also helped him to acquire a deeper understanding of good physical and mental health, while bringing creative, compassionate and professional solutions to ensure the delivery of care is always kept person-centred.

Manish has worked both in the UK and his home country of India. Having completed his foundation degree in Business Management, he decided to relocate and manage the family run hotel; after that he moved back to the UK and developed a successful property portfolio. He brings with him a wealth of business knowledge.

The two are a great match and together make up the perfect duo to head up SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside, along with Mum of course. As looking after our elders is embedded in our culture, we are passionate about providing high quality care for all service users. Our care philosophy is “treat others the way you would treat your own family.”
