Comprehensive care and home services for all of life’s journey

A lot of people often question, what is home care?

Firstly, there are many definitions of what home care, also known as domiciliary care, stands for.

Let us tell you what it means to us…

Home Care is as it says in the name, care in the comfort of your own home by having an extended family member give you a helping hand or “two”. Whether it is short term or long term, we can tailor make our services to meet your needs, wishes and preferences as you continue through life’s journey no matter what stage.

Given the choice, 97% of people say they would prefer to continue living in their own home rather than move into a care home. Home care allows you to do this.

Our care workers are extensively trained to provide support with a variety of services for you or your loved one. We understand the thought of someone coming into your home may feel intrusive, so we encourage independence and strive to have a minimum impact on your lifestyle, by learning your routines and activities of daily living.

If you would like to enquire about our service you can contact us through the webpage, send us an email or give us a call and we will do the rest.

What happens next

Once any enquiry has been made you will receive a call from one of our highly trained care coordinators within 1-2 working days. They will discuss your requirements and book an appointment for you with our quality officer. They will attend your home to discuss how you would like your care and what you would like to achieve by using our services.

Once this is established a highly detailed care and support plan will be put together and agreed with you for the care workers to follow. The quality officer will handover to staff to ensure a smooth transition. However, it does not stop there. Our quality officer and care workers will continue to monitor and review your care and support plan as we understand needs change, to ensure we are responsive and achieve your goals whilst continuing to provide your personalised care service.

SureCare is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and all of our care workers and care staff are subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

We can also offer Live-in Care to provide the same services on a permanent basis. Click here for more details on our Live-in Care services.
