What makes us different?

At SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside, we’re proud to work a little differently from other home care providers. Here we highlight some of the ways in which we differ and go the extra mile for our services users and our staff.
Newsletters
At the beginning of the year we introduced our Service User Newsletters. Our current service users were involved with the contents, from pictures they have painted to creating word searches, we love sharing the talents of our service users. With a few adjustments to font sizes and colour, (thank you for the feedback), we have successfully managed to print these off for our service users and their families, hand delivered by our care team.
We also send out staff newsletters monthly which 94% of staff like and enjoy receiving them.
Giving Back
Did you know you can collect stamps which can raise money for a chosen charity? The last charity we chose was Dementia UK, we are always planning new events so please let us know if you would like us to be involved with your charity or schemes. We at SureCare are all about giving back.

We are so proud to announce that we were awarded Top 20 Recommend Home Care Provider in the North East for the second year in a row. Credit is due to all our amazing care team and office staff that have worked so hard and provided a high standard of care. All their hard work and efforts have been reflected in this award.
Virtual Team Meetings
We understand how important team meetings are, during this COVID-19 pandemic, our virtual team meetings have been such a success, 81% of staff want to continue after the pandemic is over. Feedback from all is so important to us and we listen and respond to feedback to continuously improve our services.
Electronic Call Monitoring
We use electronic call monitoring, so our care workers log in and out of visits and we have a dedicated staff member monitoring call times to ensure the service runs smoothly. Our care workers also complete their notes online which allows us to act promptly to any concerns raised.
