Our Leadership Team

SureCare Shropshire is led by Chris Davies.

Director

Chris Davies

Chris hails from Merseyside originally but has moved all over the UK during a long and distinguished career in central government and across all levels of the civil service. Whilst much of his scouse accent may have gone nowadays, he remains a lifelong member and avid supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

His early days were spent studying graphics at the Liverpool School of Art and Design, the home some years earlier of one John Winston Lennon. Chris has managed very large organisations and is a former Business Analyst and Systems Architect. He has used those skills to develop SureCare Shropshire into one of the largest care providers in Shropshire and one of the earliest and largest SureCare franchises.

Chris is a UK Dementia Champion, and extremely active politically, both in Shropshire and nationally, and campaigns tirelessly to increase the profile of social care. He was part of a group delegation to Parliament to make politicians aware of all the issues around social care and was a shortlisted candidate for the UKHCA Board in 2015.

Chris has built a team around him of equally committed people, dedicated to providing the highest quality care for the people of Shropshire.
