Home care isn’t just about providing support with daily tasks; it’s about creating moments that truly matter. In Reading and across Berkshire, we are proud to see how small, everyday interactions between care workers and clients blossom into lasting connections that bring dignity, comfort, and joy.

Recently, we captured a beautiful example of this: a bright afternoon where one of our care workers spent time outdoors with a service user, sharing smiles, conversation, and companionship. It’s in these moments that the true meaning of care shines through, not only in meeting physical needs but in nurturing emotional wellbeing and human connection.

The Voices of Our Team

Our care staff are at the heart of everything we do. Many join us from different walks of life; parents returning to work, individuals seeking a meaningful career change, or students balancing study with valuable real-world experience. What unites them is a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

One of our Healthcare Assistants, Li Ma, described her journey beautifully:

“I joined SureCare by chance, just to give it a try. But after joining, I realised how lucky I was. Everyone at the company is incredibly friendly, and they don’t discriminate against those without experience. They offer career changes, supporting staff to become more independent and confident. While the career is demanding, it’s truly an opportunity for me to contribute to society and to those in need, whilst making a living and getting paid for it. I’m honoured and fortunate to be joining SureCare. I’m so grateful.”
